  • Weight loss
  • Upper respiratory tract infection
  • Tingling of the arms and legs
  • A loss of appetite (anorexia)
  • Diarrhea
  • Mood problems

 

The most common Topamax side effects when taken with other medicines by adults with epilepsy are:

  • Sleepiness
  • Dizziness
  • Wobbliness
  • Problems speaking properly, including speech disorders
  • Slowed reflexes and reaction time
  • Vision problems
  • Memory problems
  • Tingling of the arms and legs
  • Double vision

The most common Topamax side effects when taken with other medicines by children with epilepsy are:

  • Fatigue
  • Sleepiness
  • Lack of appetite (anorexia)
  • Nervousness
