Cold Like Edward

Migrane Awareness Month

Today's 2013 Migraine & Headache Awareness Month Blog Challenge prompt is: Twilight: What power of a vampire or werewolf would you like to have to cope with Migraine or another Headache Disorder?

I'm going to out myself by writing all this, so I might as well get that part over with: I've read all the books in the Twilight series and seen all the movies. And in case you were wondering, yes, I hated myself the entire time I was reading that fourth book. Shudder.

With that background in mind, clearly I've had quite a while to contemplate the question of whether I'm Team Edward or Team Jacob. Or I guess more specifically for someone my age, whether I'd rather have the traits of vampire or a werewolf.

I think Jacob is sexier. Who doesn't?! But I always come back to the fact that Edward is cold to the touch. I find that incredibly appealing.

You see, Migraine makes my body run incredibly hot. I experience what I can only liken to hot flashes, as though I'm going through menopause. The idea of cuddling up to a cold, albeit otherwise unappealing body, is pure bliss.

So I'd either like to be cold myself like a Twilight vampire or have a vampire popsicle of my very own to cuddle.

How about you? Would you pick the traits of a vampire or a werewolf for coping with Migraine? And are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
