Well, February seems to have been a GOOD month the past couple years. Here’s to the coldest month having something good going for it…

Summer by far! Heat and glare and especially high humidities seem to be huge factors, maybe because they are so hard to control or modify. I once forced myself to plant 4 flats of petunias even though I knew a migraine was coming because damn, I wasn’t going to waste yet another day out of my life-ps I ended up in bed for 3 days and the petunias died anyway-live and learn!

Spring, especially the transition from winter to spring, when it rains a lot. This week has been ugly. 🙁

Definitely summer, with the high temps and risk of dehydration. It’s been a bit better since starting OTC magnesium supplements, but it’s still a problem.

Summer is the worse here in Central Florida. With the heat, humidity and the daily thunderstorms I am in horrible pain! I have at least 3 migraines a week during the summer sometimes more. But the spring is pretty bad as well. With the orange blossoms blooming and the weather bouncing from the 80’s to the 60’s it is a weather nightmare.

Summer: The heat in the summer time is the worse for my migraines. All though last week I had 3 in a week. I have had them for 27 years and just wish they would go away!

Spring. I am thinking it has to do with the pollen.

I’d say the holidays-only because when I migraine I miss out on family events-that makes me sad because I know it is a disappointment for my family.

It’s so true-letting family down and even professors or people you work with….it’s been tough to accept that I am not dependable. the migraines are just too frequent and unpredictable. trying to adapt. how about you?

🙁 feeling like you are letting your family down is the worst part of dealing with a migraine.

Fall seems to be the worst for me with a lot of storms coming in, but then so is winter, and spring and summer the heat is unbearable. Somehow I never find a place to live with air conditioning! I have so many triggers it doesn’t really matter, but barometric pressure is a big one, and lately that has been going up and down like a yo-yo, so it is hard to say which season is worse.

Always! But summer the most. Having chronic migraines, seasons have little impact. Barometric pressure changes are huge, but they happen year round. Sunlight is awful, that happens year round. Heat & humidity, along with the sun in the summer makes it impossible to stay outside for any length of time even though I’d like to is a bummer, so I usually go outdoors early in the day and late in the afternoon and evening. Makes me feel like a vampire, or the Wicked Witch of the West “OOOH I’m melting!”. But I hate it when everyone’s in the pool, or laying out in the sun, and I’m inside because the sun, heat, and humidity do me in.

Summer. Those big H on the weather chart may mean heat and humidity to most people. To me the H stands for Headache.

Toss up between Spring and Fall – sorry not one word but both seasons seem to be really bad for my migraines.

summer: high heat & humidity does me in. but this crazy weather now (in the midwest) with big pressure changes is also a major trigger.

Have a sinus migraine today. Living in NE Ohio proves to be a challenge for me especially when the barametric pressure goes up & done, cold than warm and all the allergy triggers growing. Have a great all 🙂

Summer. I want to be out in the garden doing stuff and enjoying the sun, but I can’t do the physical work, or even much of anything before I’m in pain and the sun triggers pain too 🙁
