"I am so glad to find this site...I have had migraines my entire life. I was on Topamax for almost 20 years. It did help at first...then not so much. I figured it was better to take and hope. I read about Amovig and got my doctor to write my prescription. I have been on it for 9 months. It has helped a lot, but the constipation has been a big problem for me. My weight has slowly crept up and I was so glad to read on here that I am not alone. It is very depressing to have the weight gain...I am going to go off and see what happens. I will probably resume the topamax and start a plan to get the weight off...it is never easy. "
