"I just came off of a 20 day migraine attack. I went to an urgent care clinic. Unfortunately I'm seen in this one so much from falls they were surprised to see me for something else. The last time I had an intervention was at least 20 years ago. I went because I was out of my triptans. My friend said go to the ER so I finally did but I went to urgent care after I called to see if they treated migraines. They gave me 2 shots one was toradol and the other was Nubain plus an oral dose of Zofran. I had never had any of these before. I woke up about 24 hours later with a horrendous migraine. I was so disappointed. My husband came home about an hour later with the mail, my meds had arrived I took a Relpax( praise God there is a generic now!). About 2 hours later I noticed the pain was gone! I guess the intervention prepared the way for the triptan to work. I don't know why I waited so long. I tell you now the next time I will go to the urgent care again. "
