"It's frustrating that so very many "solutions" expressed, both in articles and comments, boil down to " have a good support network." For me, and no doubt many, many others, the disrespect given by others when I'm incapacitated by aphasia, migraine, fog, any symptoms, prevents me from acquiring help. If I had someone speaking up for me, I'd get help. Alone, others are impatient, even scornful that I'm wasting their time. I could be having a stroke, and get complaints for not speaking up!!. "
