"I started taking Aimovig when it came out and continued for a year until I started to have terrible stomach pain frequently and it got worse each month. The neuro advises me to switch to emgality saying that the Aimovig has a protein that gathers in the gut and my body wasn’t tolerating it well. Now I have been on emgality for almost 15months and I am experiencing stomach pain plus a little bloated tummy. This has never happened to me u til I started the Aimovig and now emgality. I have noticed that my hair is not growing and is also thinning and is continuing to get thinner and seems shorter. I noticed some posts also having the same issues. Any others out there? Nothing from neuro yet. My body won’t tolerate a lot of the medicine. The sumatriptan I take for the abortive is also a auto injector. I get so nauseas with the migraines and take the 4mg ODT zofran"
