"Caremark & Aimovig. Aimovig is the first medication I've ever had that actually worked. Now I have to 'fail' on the other two new medicines before Caremark/CVS insurance (largest in US) will cover it. Aimovig Ally cannot provide bridge as insurance as 'declined' it. This is so disheartening and makes me angry. To 'fail' on the other two will require a month off, two months on; if that one doesn't work, repeat, so SIX MONTHS to 'fail' before receiving a medicine I know works. Their formulary cost is only $44 per month more for Aimovig vs Ajovy; and Emagilty is twice the cost. I fail to understand how an insurance company can make such capricious decisions about their members health."
