Maxalt Uses

Maxalt is Used to Treat a Migraine Attack

Maxalt is used to treat migraine attacks in adults. A migraine is typically described as a headache disorder that causes symptoms beyond what might be considered normal, including throbbing, nausea, and sensitivity to light, sensitivity to sound, or odors.

Maxalt is only used once a headache has started and is not recommended for migraine prevention or controlling how often a migraine might occur.
