Migranal and Pregnancy and Nursing

Taking Migranal During Pregnancy: Pregnancy Category X

Studies or reports in humans or animals show that mothers using Migranal during pregnancy may have babies with problems related to the medicine. There are no situations where the medicine can help the mother or baby enough to make the risk of problems worth it. If you are pregnant, or think you might be pregnant, and using this drug, tell your doctor immediately. You can also check to see if there is a Migranal pregnancy exposure registry for that medicine. The Food and Drug Administration has a list of pregnancy exposure registries (http://www.fda.gov/ScienceResearch/SpecialTopics/WomensHealthResearch/ucm134848.htm) that pregnant women can join.
