More than 70% of people with migraine experience fatigue which can occur before, during and after a migraine attack. Keeping a regular sleep schedule (going to bed and waking up at the same time each day), regular exercise, meditation, taking a short nap when needed and listening to our bodies can all help keep fatigue in check. I tend push through fatigue and pain which is never a good idea but I’m working on listening to my body before things get out of control. Self-care is an important component of a good migraine management plan.
