Can a neurologist check eyes / back of eyes etc?

I had a migraine aura a month ago and have felt ‘off’ ever since but in the past few weeks I have noticed more visual snow at night and my night vision not being as good- however my eyes were tested a few weeks ago and nothing came up. Would a neurologist be able to help me with this? I’ve been referred to one for how I’ve been feeling Thanks

    Hi celticgirl99,

Great question! Good to hear you’ve had your eyes checked out. Was this with an ophthalmologist? If not, that’s the doctor I would see.

Having said that, a neurologist can look into your eyes, but not as thoroughly as a medical eye doctor.

Best of luck and keep us posted!
