Muscle relaxants and overuse headache

Are there any muscle relaxant type medications I can use daily without risk of medication overuse headache? I have very severe muscle pain and spasms daily that makes my chronic migraine worse. I have baclofen to use during attacks but was told it falls under “rescue medication” so I can’t use it more than 15 days a month. But it helps SO much … knocks my daily pain down 2-3 knotages (migraine brain refusing to tell me how to properly spell, sorry). And that decreases makes the difference between laying on the couch in constant pain and being able to move around and get a few things done. If I could take it daily, it would make my life so much easier and less painful. Thanks!

I take Amrix, which is just cyclobenzaprine, but it’s extended relief (24 hr). I take it nightly (per doctor). The only issue I have with it is that I am tired all the time. It works relatively well as part of my whole treatment plan. This was prescribed at a headache clinic by a headache specialist.

I take Baclofen everyday as a preventative medication. Maybe you should get a second opinion on it. I have never heard that you can’t take it more than a couple times per month.
Best of luck on your migraine journey.
