do silent migraines cause facial paralysis? I have been suffering since last fall. I now am on 100 mg a day of Topiramate which has taken the face nerve thing away but still have the vertigo I was having such bad symptoms of vertigo, nausea, and unbalance now he has me on 25mg of Amitriptyline. How does that drug help when I looked it up it says it is for depression. They say this is what I have silent migraines from hormones but I just turned 48 and blood work showed no sign of pre menopausal.....
