Undiagnosed and frustrated

Hello, I found this after trying to figure what’s happening to me while I wait for a specialist test in a month. I’m 35yo male and for the past 3weeks I have had aura(the only thing I have found online that I can relate to). Last night I had the worst headache of my life, hearing noises, light sensitivity etc.. (I’m now assuming that was a migraine). I still have aura. Everything I look at has it. Is this an ongoing migraine? Is it the beginning of something more sinister?

Any advice would be great as it’s added anxiety to my life now wondering if something is lurking. Plus it’s highly frustrating seeing this light constantly. An optometrist has tested my eyes and the are near perfect so no infection. I also have Crohns. Any help would be great thanks

  1. Hi Colab,

Thank you for your question. When we have the "worst headache of our life" it's time to get immediate medical help. If you are not feeling better, please get help asap.

An accurate diagnosis is needed so you can get the correct treatment. As much as I wish I could tell you what's going on, only a qualified doctor can do that after he/she's gone over your symptoms, discusses your medical history and completes a neurological exam.

Please let us know how you make out,
    Nancy
