Preventative Treatments for Vertigo Happening During Migraine?

I get vertigo as aura and during acute head pain phase. Loratadine and Zofran help some with vertigo that persists during a migraine, but taking Loratadine daily does not prevent sudden/aura vertigo. I am wondering if there are preventative treatments specifically for vertigo as well as how others minimize or cope with this. Also, the persistant vertigo is worse walking, standing, or lying flat, but less pronounced if I am reclining with my head elevated or sitting and lean slightly forward. This baffles me. Any insight on vertigo is appreciated. Thanks
