Daily chronic migraine

I'm one of those who never remembers a time I did not have a headache of some form or other. Migraines initially were hormonal and only occurred once or twice a month, or if I traveled and changed altitudes much.

Then about 18 years ago, they changed in form, location, severity, and occurrence. I went through years of agony, insurance company fights to get meds. Made me see a neurologist, even though I had a diagnosis.

But he insisted on trying numerous prophylactic meds, which made the migraines worse. He finally diagnosed me with daily, chronic migraines. Insurance has finally agreed to allow me enough migraine meds to get me thru 30 days.
