Fultonian Migraine Story

Most of her life, my mother had relatively frequent and severe migraine headaches. My sister seems to have inherited migraine disease. She experiences agonizing migraine headaches and is a very active advocate for treatment and research. I usually experience only one or two events per year. Generally preceded by visual auras prior to developing pain, I have an opportunity to take a very hot shower, medicate, and try to sleep. Through this method, I am often able to avoid the extreme pain.

I’m so glad you don’t experience your Migraine attacks as frequently as your mom and sister. I’m really glad you’ve found too, as it would be wonderful if you could find some tidbits of information you all might benefit from. Welcome!
