Help

So I was having migraines in March this year and it was blood pressure that was high, dr prescribed propranolol 80mg slow release, I took these for a month then my gp said stop taking them. Bad idea I ended up having palpitations and was admitted to hospital for ecg chest x Ray and blood to check my heart. Another gp put me back on the drug I wasn’t happy with it because it gives me insomnia which doesn’t help with migraines. I’m waking up every day with a migraine my gp just keeps prescribing different things but finally sent a referral to neurology. I have been taking Amitriptyline 10mg for 2 weeks and for first week it eased been back to doctor today and they have increased it to 20mg. I don’t want to rely on medication as before March I never took anything. I haven’t been to the gym in months I’m weepy all the time. When I have a migraine my face feels numb and in the back of my head and neck I can feel tingling does this sound normal?
