Medication Overuse Headache (MOH)???

I have had a migraine, the SAME migraine for over a month now. The pain level varies from a 5 to a 10 based on God only knows what, but it hasn’t gone away. (Yes, I have identified my triggers, I have been a migraine patient for 18+ years now).

I just read that taking ANY migraine medication more often than 2-3 times per week can cause MOH! I’ve been taking one type of med per day for up to 4 days per week, which still leaves me with 3 days a week with just ice packs to calm the pain.

Is there a defined number of days per week you can treat a migraine?
