Is barometric pressure causing my monthly migraine?

About a year ago I began having a monthly migraine. It feels like it's a sinus headache but I have no sinus congestion etc. I'm post-menopausal by several years so I don't think it has anything to do with hormones. I used to think it had to do with eating something with sugar or salt for dinner or late in the evening, but there are plenty of times I do that and don't get a headache. I'm beginning to think it has something to do with barometric pressure. Thanks

  1. I believe that barometric pressure really makes me have a lot of migraines.

    1. Hi pet1unia,

      Great question, thank you for sharing it with out community.

      I can tell you fluctuations in barometric pressure can be a strong migraine trigger for some of us. Let me share some information on weather triggered migraine attacks with you;

      I hope this helps! Will you keep me posted?
      Nancy

      1. Barometric pressure can be a trigger but the pressure fluctuates more often than once a month.
