I’m a 28 year old male, and have suffered from headaches (migraines?) intermittently for the past 1.5 years. I will get a 2-3 week period of chronic daily headaches which will then go away for a month until it comes back. I also get facial tingling (not numbness per say, but like a slight tickle). The headaches began as tension-type (like a band), but now really have no pattern. Recently, I had a near fainting experience which drove me to the ER. The CT was clear (as one had been a year before).
I then had an MRI- also clear , and went to a neurologist, who ordered a cervical spine MRI. This show several degenerative disc issues, and a slight protrusion into my spine. My Neurologist had theorized that this was the cause of my headaches, but I guess I’m a little uncertain. Why? The headaches have come and gone, but the facial tingling has been there consistently now for months. I guess I want to make sure I’m asking the right questions from my neurologist and being an advocate when needed.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
