Colon Cleanse Success

Having read on this site that someone managed to reduce their migraine frequency and severity by conducting a colon cleanse, I decided to give it a go. I cannot thank this person enough. 10 days in and I have had 1 mild migraine. I was waking up at 6am EVERY morning with one and this had been going on for 5 + years, gradually getting worse.

All the neck pain, which led to my migraines, and general feeling of unwell have gone. I have not felt this well in 15 + years.

Has anyone else had this amazing success? I did a 10 day tablet course.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this success.

  1. What exactly does this colon cleanse entail?

    1. I purchased HelathyNow Extra Strength Colon Cleanse from Amazon. I did plenty or research, reading the different reviews, as they do vary in the way they take effect. I wanted something more gentle and some of them were suggesting taking 3 days off work, which wasn't an option for me. I started with one tablet at night and gradually increased it to the best dose for my body - everyone will be different. You can do the cleanse for a maximum of 10 days. Drink plenty of water and try to stay off red meat and bread. I did have a couple of episodes of needing to be near a bathroom but no great shakes. That's it, nothing too imposing or invasive. I will do another one as soon as I feel the need.

The decrease in my headaches and migraines was apparent within a couple of days. I cannot tell you what a relief this has been to me, my husband, my family and my work. The general feeling of well-being is making me jump for joy.

I hope this works for you if you give it a try - I really do.

I just hope everyone has the same results - just decreasing a migraine attack by one is a joyous day 😀

      1. jgilmourpike,

I'm so pleased you've found some relief! Definitely keep us posted as time goes on.

I do want to make a note to others who might read your post to STRONGLY recommend that migraine patients talk to their healthcare providers before doing any kind of fasting or cleansing. It can be dangerous for certain patients depending on their weight, preexisting conditions, and various other factors. It sounds as if you ate during the cleanse, jgilmourpike, but I know plenty of folks who fast all throughout colon cleanses, and that can be risky for migraineurs, as skipping meals is one of the most common triggers.

In the meantime, kudos to you and thank you for sharing your success story! I hope you'll continue to feel really well. Isn't it amazing how your attitude and mental health just skyrocket when your physical health is so vastly improved?

        Take care,
