Emergency Room Problems

  • By Anonymous

I have been going to the ER with no changes to my insurance for close to four years now. All of a sudden my insurance wants to say my migraines visits aren’t deem-able a emergency. I have fought a couple of these bills already and won. Now I feel like they are really just not going to pay for them anymore. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

    Sharlene92,
Dealing with insurance companies is so frustrating!!!! In your case it doesn’t make sense that they would stop covering claims that they previously approved. I have a few articles that may help you, including one that has a sample letter you can use to appeal a denial. I hope some of this info helps you!
