End of (Resolution) of Migraines????????

After over 10 years of suffering and receiving various treatments for severe, debilitating migraines, they abruptly stopped after the worst Phoenix, Arizona summer of my life. Can anyone account for this? On the other hand new symptoms developed suggesting the very rare Stiff Person Syndrome or Parkinson's. Any ideas whatsoever about these events? Related???
Thank You.

  1. Hi plazma1,

Thank you for your comments and being part of the Migraine.com discussion forum!

When we have new and/or different symptoms, and/or see a dramatic change in our migraine patterns, its a good idea to discuss this with the doctor. If you haven't had a chance to do that, I would encourage you to get in touch with him/her.

It is possible for chronic migraine (15 or more days and month of migraine and/or tension-type headache) to revert to episodic, or occasional migraine. I wish I could tell you the exact reason for the change, but only your doctor can do that.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.
    Nancy
