First time 10 days no migraine by injecting testosteron: help

Hello everyone

Okey before I start, I'm 31years and suffered migraine for about 25 years daily.
I did a lot of testing, medication, hospital visits,... My life is a disaster like a lot of migraine suffers.

That said, I train, I do fitness, eat healthy and i take for the first time in my life steroids, just a mild cycle with only testosterone and I'm on it for 20 days,

And for the last 10 days I hadden't have one headache ! Did not even took a light painkiller. While I pop them daily before. I'm so confused, this is the first time in my life that I didn't had a headache for more that 2 days in a row,...

Would this really be that simple? Could it be that I suffer from a low testosterone and this caused migraine?

Someone heard this before ?

  1. Hi Sandman85,

Thanks for your post! Sorry to hear you have experienced migraines daily for 25 years, however it sounds like you have figured out how to live a healthy happy lifestyle, which is great to hear. Also, congrats on not having an attack for 10 days! You must be feeling wonderful! The following article may lead you in the right direction - https://migraine.com/blog/a-new-fat-based-target-for-migraine-therapy/. There is a sentence towards the bottom of the article which states: "Testosterone suppresses adiponectin which may account for the success of testosterone treatment of male cluster headache patients."Perhaps testosterone can impact migraine attacks? It sounds like speaking with your migraine specialist regarding your shift in symptoms could be helpful, if you haven't already. They will be able to speak more to the idea of how testosterone can impact chronic migraine. I hope you find this helpful! If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to reach out. Wishing you all the best today.

    Warmly,
