I was diagnosed with chronic migraine two years ago. I finally got in to see a neurologist this past November and it is the neurology department’s policy to not sign disability paperwork for my university so that I’ll “keep living my life.” I shrugged and dealt with it because he adjusted my medications and I saw positive change in spite of being bad at taking my intervention medication early. But in the past two weeks or so I have had almost daily migraines. I’m wondering if any of you had neurologists not sign off on disability paperwork? If so, what did you do? My neuro is really nice and I like him, but I can’t miss class without fear of grade deductions.
