Here it comes…

  • By migraine-guy

I know that fairness has nothing to do with it, but it is not fair. I had many tasks to complete this afternoon but now I wait for the Imitrex to kick him in the 1 mg of Ativan to taming anxiety. I am in the prodromal stage with the slight drop in motivation, energy, and increase in irritability, light sensitivity and some disequilibrium.

there’s no stopping it now… The migraine is on my street, the migraine is outside my door, The migraine will soon be in my room and I can’t stop it. another half day lost to a thunder storm of pain

    Hi stefan,

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I am however, sorry you’re dealing with a migraine attack.

Are you able to consistently identify your prodrome symptoms? If so, you may want to discuss with your doctor treating early, which may stave off the attack. Here is information on treating early; https://migraine.com/blog/are-you-an-early-jumper-or-a-waiter/.

    Good luck
    Nancy
