ice headband/hat recommendations?

What ice headband/ ice hat devices do you use, & what do you like or dislike about them?

I have a Headache RelieveRx ice pack headband that I love but when I went to buy a second, I discovered they appear to be out of business. A lot of the products on the market appear to use grids of frozen-water ice cubes that get very hard, and I like to lie down when I've got a migraine. The Headache Hat looks widely used and well reviewed but like it would be hard to keep it off of my eyes & ears, & I'm cold-sensitive & need to only have an ice band around my temples/side of head where I need the relief, not other sensitive places. Looking for a recommendation that will fit my needs. Thanks!

  1. Hello Galadhwen, thank you for reaching out! I hear how much you depend on your ice pack band for helping to relieve your symptoms when experiencing migraine. While many in the community have spoken positively about loving their Headache Hat, I can appreciate that may not be best choice for you. In doing some digging, the Thera-Med Headache Band might be close to what you had before and contains a gel pack for the cold pack. I saw it advertised for sale at Amazon, Walgreens and CVS, but this link provided the most complete description:

I hope others in the community will also join in and share their favorite products with you so you have a few ideas to consider! Please keep us posted on how you are managing and what you find. Wishing you a gentle day. ~Allyson (Migraine.com team)
