Incontinence

Hello, This is a bit embarrassing to post. Has anyone experienced pee incontinence as a symptom of a migraine? I have had this for about 4 years. Whenever I have, or I am getting over, a migraine, I can’t seem to be able to hold my pee. As if my muscles can’t contract. I am able to “hold it” just fine when I don’t have a migraine. Anyone experienced this?
Thanks!
MM

  1. Hi MM,

Thank you for asking this difficult question. I know before a migraine attack hits, I'm more prone to frequency urination, which can be a common prodrome (first phase of a migraine attack) symptom. However, I've not experienced incontinence. I have read that this may occur, and hopefully others will be along shortly to share their experiences with you.

I wouldn't hesitate to mention this to the doctor so he/she can make sure everything checks out!

Please let us know how you make out!
    Nancy

    1. Yes. It happened to me today.

      1. Hi CurtieCarol,

I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for sharing it so others won't feel so alone.
