Is it time to go to the doctor?

I’ve had migraines with only auras and light/sound sensitivity since i was 12. I never thought to mention it to anybody but an eye doctor once and he said there wasn’t much that could be done and to try having caffeine when the aura started. That doesn’t work and caffeine isn’t usually a trigger either. At that point I only had it once or twice a year. Now I’m 19 and I’ll be graduating college in a few months. In the past year I’ve had at least 4 but I really can’t remember, and have been getting headaches now too. And this time I’ve been dizzy and nauseous too and last night it felt like someone was squeezing my brain which was creepy.

I’ve been putting off going to the doctor because I hate phone calls and I never seem to be able to explain things right once I get in there. But I’m running out of time before I start working. I forgot what else there was to say sorry

  1. Sounds like it's time to go to the doctor. What you're describing are symptoms that can happen with migraine, and the doctor can evaluate what's going on, and if appropriate, prescribe you medication. I know sometimes I feel on the spot in the doctor's office (my doctor likes to rush me) so I write things down in advance so I don't forget to say them... I wonder if that would help?
