Is this Migraine Or Something Else?

Hi,

I am a long time sufferer from migraine aura without the headache along with MAV...well usually anyway.

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night with slight hearing loss and a sizzling sound in one ear, not to mention some stabbing pain in the ear. Pretty typical. An hour went by and I laid down on the contralateral ear for a few seconds, after which I started getting vertigo and shooting pains in that ear, the nose, the eyes, and the jaw, high-pitched ringing, and likely some hearing loss in that ear. Then the pain spread to both sides of the head and to my feet, and it felt like every nerve in my head was on fire, especially in my sinuses. I felt like I was going to vomit, and it was impossible to lie down because every sleeping position would result in more stinging pain and a numbness traveling down my neck. Not to mention I perceived that I had allergies and there was a lot of dust in the air, which was totally not true.

I finally fell asleep, and woke up feeling very heavy in my entire body, and my eyes and sinuses still hurt to some degree. Hearing loss did not resolve in the left ear :/.

Could this have simply been a migraine, or is this some kind of neuralgia or neuropathy? I have never experienced pain this terrible before.

Pretty sure I am negative for MS and definitely negative for any kind of brain tumor, as FYI.
