Is this Migraines?

I am new here and hoping to find some answers. One of many doctors told me my symptoms were Migraines. I really didn't believe it because I never have headaches.

They are cloudy vision, muffled hearing (the start), but only if I go out in the sunlight or into a store with a lot of lights. After a little while I cannot walk straight; my limbs get so weak; oh as to the sunlight, different times it feels like it is burning me from lightly to intensely. I have had all the test for Lupus, Lyme's disease, RA, nerve studies but it was the last doctor that thought it might be Migraines. Also, I usually end up in bed for about an hour or two and then start to feel better (in the dark I should say)
Do these symptoms relate to Migraines? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Sammi

  1. Sammi555, you have a good question. It sounds like you may be having silent migraine. Here are some articles that may be of help.

    1. Hi Sammi555,

Thank you for reaching out to our community. While we can't give medical advice, some of the symptoms you've described could very well be migraine disease related.

Peggy gave you are great place to start, I hope some of that information resonates with you.

Many people think a migraine attack renders us completely disabled, while that may be true, there are those of us who walk around with migraine pain every day OR walk around with migraine attack symptoms but no pain. And it's completely possible to have a migraine attack without the headache phase.

I hope this information helps, please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can be of more assistance,

Wishing you a low pain day,
