Diagnosis of Migraine & Headache Types

Meningitis & Encephalitis Headaches

Amanda Ferguson – Very excellent question Amanda. It’s one I wish I could answer myself for you. I know a few things, but maybe some more research is in order. For example, meningitis can wreak havoc with the blood brain barrier which we know can be important in Migraine disease. One of the reasons it is suspected that TBI causes Migraineurs to have so many problems after injury is because they think the blood brain barrier has been altered by the trauma.

What does your doctor say about the possible connection??
