migraines and toothpaste

has anybody noticed a relationship between migraines and toothpaste? I have had migraines for 50 odd yrs and recently heard a random comment about migraines and toothpaste. I have had food allergies causing peeling lips and cancer sores and dental issues and recently heard about an alternative toothpaste which I intend to buy tomorrow. It's called Body food dental serum and though I haven't tried it yet I did want to let others know about it -- it's different from other "natural" toothpastes. I couldn't find online research on migraines and toothpaste.

  1. Hi Wolfer12,

Thank you for sharing this with us. I've not heard of a connection before, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

I believe some toothpastes contain artificial sweeteners, which can be a strong migraine trigger for some of us. Maybe this is something to think about?

    Let me know,
    Nancy

    1. Yes, I have toothpaste sensitivity. I found an all natural clay-based toothpaste made by Zion Health that I can tolerate. I also can use Ecodent Powder. Most brushings I use no paste. I use an oat straw bristle brush. My dentist says my teeth are good. No cavities, no tarter, etc. My teeth are not pearly white, just a normal tooth color and I am fine with that.

      Good luck
