Mostly better but lingering symptoms

5 days ago I had the worst migraine of my life. I only get a few a year, but I’m always able to take care of it with OTC medications and I’m better in 24 hours at the most. This one did not respond to any medications at all. By the next day the headache was gone, but I have been queasy since then and my head hurts if I exert myself (run up a flight of stairs or even stand up too quickly for example). Luckily none of this is debilitating but I’m wondering how long it’ll possibly be till I’m 100%!! This is all new to me!

  1. Hi newfiebullet,

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well and hope you are on the mend.

When we have new and/or different symptoms and our patterns to our migraine attacks, it's always a good idea to let the doctor know so he can rule out anything more serious. If you haven't had a chance to talk to your doctor, I would encourage you to do so if you aren't feeling better.

Please let me know how you are doing,
    Nancy

    1. We get used to sufferring, but you should seek full relief. Ongoing use of otc can lead to ineffectiveness. Please see your doctor as soon as possible. See info under the treatment portal of the menu here for more info about otcs.

      Get well soon!
