Social Security Denial After 4 Years of Fighting

I was just "officially" denied SSI benefits after 4 years of fighting. I applied in 2014 and was denied twice before going before a judge in December 2016 and was denied in July 2017, my lawyer was shocked (even the State's Occupational Person, I can't remember her official title, said it would be impossible for me to hold down a job...even the two the judge suggested, an envelope stuffed or a garment stuffer because of the lights, noise and the fact that I would probably call out so often) and challenged his decision to a 3 panel group of judges. They denied me just a few days ago..... January 15 2018. My question, has anyone been denied by a judge, reapplied and won their case? I did find out my lawyer didn't submit some paperwork on time and the judge refused to admit it into evidence, so I don't know if that had a large bearing on his decision. I'm crushed and totally frustrated. My migraines continue to worsen and now I have to start all over. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions or information for me? Another 4 years just may send me over the edge.
Thanks,
Dana

  1. Hi Dana,

I'm so sorry to hear this, how frustrating. Let me do some digging and see what I can find out for you.

      1. I've been thinking about this. Have you had a chance to talk to your doctor about the appeal process?

        1. From what I'm reading you have 60 days to file an appeal with the Appeals Council. Let me know what you think,
