I press my temples with my fingertips a lot during migraines. Pressing a temple relieves the same side pain very well, but it only relieves the same side pain. Sometimes it’s the only way to keep my eyes open during a very bad migraine, when medicines don’t work. And I often press them with fingertips so hard into my skull, too hard I think. But is that really good for my vessels or brains in the long run? If not, can I put pressure on other positions, like forehead or bone above eyes, except temples with fingertips. Or can I just press with my palms to avoid damage?
