Tinted lenses for migraine

Hi, all - I'm considering purchasing specially tinted eyeglasses (tint FL-41) to help relieve light sensitivity. I have the double-whammy of chronic migraine and the lingering effects of a severe eye infection that have made me REALLY sensitive to light, both indoors and outdoors. I'd love to hear from anyone who has used these lenses. Do they really help? Also, I am very near-sighted -- can the different vendors generally accommodate a very high prescription? Thanks!

  1. Hi GinaD,

Thank you for posting in our discussion forum - we're glad you're here!

Many people I've talked with LOVE their glasses, some have even said they changed their lives!!

I do know they do prescription lenses, but as far as specifics go, you would have to ask the company directly. Two great choices are; TheraSpecs - https://migraine.com/sponsored/sponsored-proven-migraine-relief-with-new-theraspecs-glasses/ and Axon Optical - https://migraine.com/sponsored/are-you-ignoring-one-of-the-top-migraine-triggers/.

Best of luck. Will you let us know how you make out?

    Nancy

    1. I will certainly let you know how it works out. Thanks!

      1. Great Gina, I look forward to hearing from you.
