A Peek Into the Unique World of Migraine from Sarah Hackley

June is Migraine and Headache Awareness Month, and those of us at Migraine.com wanted to give our community members a peek into the unique ways migraine manifests for each of us. We all experience migraine disease differently. In this video, Sarah Hackley discusses a “normal-for-her” attack, complete with blurred vision, vertigo, phonophobia, aphasia, photophobia, cognitive dysfunction, tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, pain, and fatigue.

Thank you for this video! I hate that other people suffer with this disease, but it does help to hear what others are going through, especially if they have some of the same symptoms I have.

What is with all these videos without a transcript for those of us who the video plays so intermittently it is unwatchable. Useless. I’m really disappointed that migraine.com has gone this route. A youtube format would work.

Since you are trying to spread migraine awareness what is the reason you don’t use youtube?

    Hi Luna,
We are currently working on other viewing options with our contributors along with the transcriptions. Additionally, please know that Migraine.com does not drive the content (i.e. video vs. article format) in which our contributors share. It is solely their preference…but again, we do value and appreciate any feedback we receive from the community as we always like to share it with our team of contributors. Thanks again! -Joanna (Migraine.com Team)
