My Thoughts on the Word "Headache"!

Migraine Awareness Month is celebrated in the United States every June while the United Kingdom recognizes Migraine Awareness Week in early September. I want to talk about the word "headache."

I share my thoughts below, and I'd love to hear yours.

Do you care when people call migraine a "headache"?

Do you get annoyed when people call your migraine attacks a "headache"? Or is it your descriptor of choice? Do you not care what words are used, as long as people understand that migraine is a serious disease that needs to be treated, like any other medical condition? What has been your experience with the word "headache"?
