Botox Update...

I started Botox Oct.25 and have had a severe migraine ever since. He told me it would take 7 to 10 days to be able to tell a difference. But I can tell you now if this is how I'm going to feel for the first 7 to 10 days with severe migraines after the Botox I don't believe I will redo them in January. Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks for listening..

  1. Thanks for sharing this. I'm sorry you are in increased pain. I wonder if it could be a coincidence and not have anything to do with Botox? We do know migraine ebbs and flows.
Getting Botox, which works for prevent migraine attacks, doesn't typically work fast. It can take three sometimes four or more rounds of injections before we see a reduction in attack frequency.
I'm sure others will be along shortly to share their experiences. Try not to lose hope just yet and please keep us posted. Nancy Harris Bonk, Patient Leader/Moderator Migraine.com Team
