Born and raised in Georgia, Janet Geddis (known to some of you as “The Migraine Girl”) moved around a bit in her early 20s before deciding to make Athens, Georgia her home. Though she’s dealt with chronic migraine disease and autoimmune issues for more than half her life, Janet finally feels she has a handle on this disease (most of the time, at least). Much of her healing has been achieved through communicating with her blog readers and other health writers over the last few years. In a few months, Janet is opening Avid Bookshop, a community-focused, independent bookstore. Curious to know how she’ll cope with her illness while running a new business? Stay tuned!
