I have to develop an educational project for my post-graduation (in teaching) and as a chronic migraineur I couldn't waste the opportunity to raise awareness about migraines. My idea was to develop a small children's book about migraine and other invisible disabilities. I decided to animate these conditions as animals, migraine will be represented by a woodpecker. The idea is to show how episodes are out of our control many times. By taking care of the animal, doing what it likes and avoiding what it doesn't like (triggers) we can only try to manage it.
What do you think?
