Looking for Migraine Expert In Florida
I live in Naples, Florida and have been treated by numerous neurologists for migraine. Have tried dozens of medications in many different combinations, have completed 2 treatments of Botox which have not proven to be effective. Please, if anyone can make any suggestions for a migraine expert, I am willing to move on and try another doc. I have been on steroids too many times and have encountered negativity in the ED. Help! Please!

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time, but did want to mention it can take 2 - 3 rounds of Botox before we see a difference in our migraine frequency and severity.
I don't have any personal recommendations on a doctor for you but can tell you, you're in luck as there are a number of doctors who are board certified in headache medicine in FL. Being board certified in headache medicine is different than being certified in neurology. Or have you moved from somewhere else? If you have moved to Naples, did you find any improvement at all with your migraines?
