I’ve suffered with migraine since I was 8 years old. Probably not as bad as some stories on here but I can have up to 5 in a week. I was prescribed sumatriptan roughly 25 years ago, which mostly works but not always. I’m also on Amitriptyline as a preventative measure. In July of this year I was in the hospital for 3 days with a completely unrelated problem where they found my blood pressure was quite high and was prescribed amlodipine 10mg tablets. Yippee I yeah - I’ve only had a handful of headaches since (admittedly pretty bad aura beforehand). I’m wondering has anyone else had this experience?
- Cheers, Michael

  1. So glad to hear that you've started getting some much-needed relief from your migraines after starting amlodipine. There is a similar post by describing their experience with the same medication. Here's a link: https://migraine.com/stories/relief-using-amlodipine-norvasc. Hopefully others will be along shortly to share their experience if they can relate. - Cody (Team Member)
