My current insurance covers Vyepti. Concerned Medicare won't and copay will be outrageous

  1. Hi
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. I understand how scary it can be when we transition to Medicare. There are many different supplemental/advantage plans you can look into to see if this medication is covered. I get Botox every three months and my Medicate Advantage plan covers about 80% of the cost. That still leaves me with a hefty 20% bill, but I'm able to make payments instead of paying one lump sum.
Have you had a chance to research this? We've heard from other who get this covered while on Medicare.
I'm sure others will be along shortly to share their experiences with you and I'm sending you pain free wishes, Nancy Harris Bonk, Patient Leader/Moderator (team member)
