Xeomin vs Botox
Hello! I’m new to this forum but not migraines. My question is someone’s experience with Xeomin injections. I’m a chronic migraine sufferer. Last year, I received the Botox brand for my migraines and it worked! My headaches were cut in half. Then, my husband for a new job, new insurance so new doctor. This headache clinic said they always have their patients try Xeomin before Botox. So in May, I received Xeomin injections. It has been awful. I’m right back to the life I had before any Botox treatments with 24+ headaches in June and 20+ in July.
My question is, has anyone experienced Xeomin and noticed this difference? The neurologist is saying I have to give it another try before I can go back to Botox and I’m very frustrated. Thanks!

I don't blame you for being frustrated. Is the doctor aware Botox was more beneficial for you? If not maybe a gentle reminder?
To be honest, I don't know whether I get Botox of Xeomin, in fact I didn't know it existed!! Your question made me question whether or not I'm getting Botox or Xeomin, as I relocated and have a new doctor. I messaged her to find out! Thank you!!
I'm not sure why you have to wait seeing as Botox was working out better, that's just not fair.
