Zip health

I am curious if anyone here has utilized zip health for their sumatriptan prescription. My current doctor prescribed me sumatriptan, but I am considering changing doctors for other reasons. I am concerned I will run out of my current prescription before I can get one from a new doctor, so I was thinking about using Zip Health. I was hoping someone here might have used them before and could tell me their experience.

  1. I haven't heard of that service but just looked it up to learn more. I couldn't find anything on our site about it but hopefully someone might ring in with some experiences to share with you. It could be that they may be able to serve as a bandaid when you are between doctors. However, triptans can have refills written on them. So you could check your script to see how many refills are left and time your exit based on that timing, if that would work for you (I say that not knowing what the issues are with your doctor and why you are wanting to find a new one). Also, I wanted to send you a link to migraine doctors in case that might assist you in finding a new specialist in your area as soon as possible: https://migraine.com/blog/looking-for-a-migraine-specialist. Hope this helps. Let us know what other questions you have and thank you for reaching out. Warmly- Holly -migraine.com team.
