My Sure Alternative to Nut Butter
I’ve known for years that nuts are a migraine trigger for me. I eliminated them and really haven’t looked back… until I see a recipe that calls for nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.)
Thankfully I stumbled upon a great alternative that I wanted to share with you.
Nut butter substitutions
Have you tried coconut butter before? I won’t recommend it as an alternative to your PB&J sandwich but it’s a great substitute for a baking recipe. Sunflower butter is another good alternative, but I find myself (or my migraines!) to be a little more sensitive to that option.
